KP chief minister directed to complete high priority projects
KP chief minister Mehmood Khan directed the authorities to complete high-priority projects. He said on Monday that there would be no compromise on delaying the projects, and the officials would be responsible for the act. He chaired a meeting on Monday and reviewed the work progress of important projects.
The government is taking an interest in the early completion of ongoing development works. CM decided to call a meeting after every month to monitor the progress in the province. He also issued instructions to administrative bodies to attend the meeting accordingly and apprise him of the progress on projects of their concerned departments. Additional secretary Shahab Ali shah and principal secretary to CM Amjad Ali Khan also attended the meeting along with the administrative secretaries of the departments and other officials.
CM regularly asked the planning and development departments to monitor progress on the projects and wanted keen observation of the work.
Of these necessary 216 projects, 94 are related to tribal areas. 2 projects have been fully completed, while the remaining 205 are under the target. Furthermore, officials can also monitor the work progress online because CM has instructed them to avoid the traditional way of working and deliver extraordinary to ensure timely completion of the project without any delay. Further, he wanted the collaboration of all the departments like health, education, and local government.
