Prime Minister Imran Khan will pay a day’s visit to Karachi on Monday. September 27. He will open the Karachi Circular Railway (KCR) project.
The PM will meet with the governor and get updates on several development and infrastructure projects, including the Green Line mass transport project.
The Karachi Circular Railway (KCR) is a component of the Karachi Mass Transit Project, which the prime minister will inaugurate during his visit. Furthermore, the PKR 170 billion projects are being constructed to help with traffic and commuting issues in the metropolis.

The KCR is a 43-kilometer-long electric train track with no signal crossings. The project will be effectuated through a Public-Private Partnership (3P) initiative, according to the government.
The World Bank (WB), the Asian Development Bank (ADB), and the Bank of France are among the foreign organizations and banks that have supported KCR (Banque de France). When completed, the project would provide daily service to over 500,000 individuals in the city.
