Punjab Government Approved RS7.82 Billion for Development Schemes
Punjab provincial development working party allocated Rs7.82 billion for ten development schemes of the road sector. In these schemes dualization of Lahore-Jaranwala-Faisalabad and Jhang-Bakkar Road from Ayub Chowk to Ali Abad Bypass, re-construction of roads from Phalia to Dinga at the cost of Rs776.944 million, from Malakwal to Sat Sira Chow, Mandi Bahauddin at the expense of Rs650 million are included. Furthermore, construction of flyover at Rajjar Railway Crossing Sarai Alamgir, Gujrat at the cost of Rs1.139 billion, from Kalowal Mor, Ahmadnagar to Sial Mor, Lalian, Chinot at the expense of Rs450.950 million, widening of road from Hafizabad to Sukheke Madi at the cost of Rs704.775 million are also part of those schemes.
With the completion of the schemes, the province will develop the road infrastructure into a a vast network and connect many distant cities.
